  Dr. Silva was associated with Pinnacle Medical Group with which I have been a patient for three years. I was referred to her due to an extremely worsening diabetes condition. In April I was given an initial appointment for August. When alerted my primary physician learned of the long wait he stepped in and the appointment was updated to May. I waited 5 weeks and then received a phone call stating that Dr. Silva was leaving the practice and that I should look for another doctor. No explanation. No offer to fold me into her new practice. No assistance in locating a new doctor. Just get lost - drop dead. The notice came from her assistant who, at the time refused to even tell me who she worked for then complained that I was upset. Like she was the victim. What a disgrace. The level of disregard here for the welfare of the patients is a an all time high. Unless she was asked to leave by practice management she had to be aware of her intent to leave when she accepted my appointment. Therefore, I lost five weeks in seeking treatment due to her refusal to disclose her anticipated departure. I'll never know how competent a doctor she is, but the handling of this matter marks Dr. Silva as uncaring, insensitive and arrogant.
